Postdoctoral scholars at UCI who are affiliated with the Center for Population, Inequality,
and Policy enjoy access to our faculty affiliates, guest speakers, events, newsletters, and more. Some perks associated with CPIP affiliation as a postdoc
are:
- Ability to present your research in progress at a CPIP workshop
- Given priority over non-CPIP affiliates when requesting to schedule a meeting with
a CPIP seminar speaker
- Registration and travel support when presenting either an oral or a poster presentation
at the annual meeting of the Population Association of America (PAA) or at the All-UC
Demography Conference (approved on a case-by-case basis; submit your request to a co-director or coordinator).
CPIP welcomes postdocs at UCI to join as affiliates. If your research involves demography or population studies and examines inequality, and you would like to be
an affiliate of the CPIP, send us a request. When you join, you will be added our email list to learn about upcoming events
and receive other news.
